How to sell a home
- Prepare your home
Schedule a time for Ken to meet you. Finish any projects you have started
and give your home a thorough cleaning.
- Get a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA)
Ken will come to your home and give you the current market value of
your home based on what other homes in the area have sold for and the
condition your home is in.
- List your home
Sign an agreement to list the property. We will place your home in the
Metropolitan Regional Information System (MRIS). This will place your
home in front of all agents and buyers searching for homes in this area.
- Maintain your home
Keep your home looking good during the showing period, when potential
buyers will be coming through. We will give you some tips on little
things you can do to make your home look best.
- Accept a contract
After accepting a contract, there will be a few inspections and a bank
appraisel that will take place.
- Moving Preparation
Pack your belongings and notify companies of your address change.
- Settlement
All your belongings will be out of the house by this day. The settlement
attorney will explain all papers and have you sign as needed. They will
give you a check of any money due to you from the sale.
